Do you experience food cravings, afternoon energy crashes, brain fog or difficulty concentrating, irritability, and/or trouble sleeping? These could be signs that your body is struggling to balance your blood sugar levels.

Balancing blood sugar is important for everyone - not just those diagnosed with diabetes or prediabetes. When our blood sugar is balanced, it helps our body maintain optimal function. And when it's not balanced, it can be the root cause of many chronic conditions.

In this class, we'll talk about what happens in the body when blood sugar is out of balance and learn how to balance our blood sugar using whole foods and lifestyle modifications.

Hosted by: Kristin Kinnie, MScN and NUNM Alumni, (full bio below).

Ticket will be available soon.

About Kristin Kinnie:

Instructor bio: Kristin Kinnie is a clinical nutritionist who loves nutrition science, but also cares about you, your food relationship, and how food makes you feel. When you’re looking to make nutrition changes, it’s not always just about food – which she learned on her own journey! Kristin believes everyone deserves to enjoy and love food in their own personal way – whether that’s pizza or a kale salad – doesn’t matter to her! Food is meant to be enjoyed! And yes, healthy food can be enjoyable :)

Kristin started her professional career as a social worker, earning her MSW from Walla Walla University. She practiced Social Work in the school setting for many years then decided to go back to school and earned her Master's of Science in Nutrition from NUNM in 2019. Since then she has blended social work and nutrition knowledge together to help clients feel better while also finding more peace with food.
